Beyond (and in many ways including) photography my hobbies tend to revolve around

the outdoors and getting somewhere unique. From cycling to mountaineering, to boat building, and

sailing or kayaking. This drive to explore and try new things brings a different perspective and

approach than many photographers.

I started shooting with a Minolta S-1, and as digital began taking over tried out a Point and Shoot

(Canon S70) before progressing to a Nikon D50. From there I've forayed into higher end DSLRs,

as well as Mamiya Medium Format (RB-67 ProSD). Developing as a photographer can

be tricky at times with the various avenues available. I strive to learn continously, knowing that the more

you learn, the more you realize you don't know.
